Planning for a new food processing plant in northern California, including an assessment of marketing, technical, and financial feasibility. The study included an assessment of commodity availability, a review of potential markets, preliminary site selection, preliminary engineering design and equipment lists, and financial projections under a number of possible scenarios.
Morrison was brought in to organize the business infrastructure and serve as Interim CFO when a client made a $250 million purchase of disparate units of a large national company. When the purchase was final we had established basic accounting, human resources, and purchasing functions and helped implement a contract agreement for IT services. Business and employee insurance plans were put in place, as well as new benefit and retirement plans.
Assessment of the marketing, technical, and financial feasibility of a facility to convert food processing waste to fuel-grade ethanol. The study included appraisals of feedstock availability and costs, assessment of available technologies and needed innovations, a review of markets, site reviews, preliminary engineering, and financial projections.
